It started with a simple craving for homegrown flavor and a backyard that felt a little too small for the dream. Like many aspiring gardeners, I had the passion but lacked the confidence to dive in. So, I did what I do best: I geeked out. After hundreds of hours of research and a fair share of both "bumper crops" and "lessons learned," I realized that every failure was just an opportunity to reflect, adapt, and grow better.

Today, Backyard Bounty is built on the belief that anyone can take accountability for what they consume. I specialize in Foodscaping—transforming traditional yards into edible landscapes that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

But a true bounty starts beneath the surface. My obsession with systems and processes led me deep into the world of soil health and microbe-rich ecosystems. This fascination with the "living soil" is what birthed Backyard Bounty Worms, our dedicated arm for vermiculture. Whether you're looking for a full garden design or the biological building blocks to start your own, I’m here to empower you to harvest the gratification of your own backyard.
